Frequently Asked Questions
What is FTTx Technology?
FTTx (Fiber to the X) means all possible optical-fibre topologies from a telecom or cable carrier to its customers, based on the location of the fibre's termination point. X can be: FTT-H = Home, FTT-B = Building, FTT-F = Floor.
What is FTTH?
FTTH (Fiber To The Home) is a connectivity method where the optical fibre is run directly up to the customer's home, delivering very high, stable speeds with low latency over a dedicated last-mile fibre.
What is the difference between ADSL and FTTH?
ADSL carries internet over old copper telephone lines and offers limited speeds that drop with distance. FTTH uses optical fibre end-to-end, giving far higher, symmetrical speeds, lower latency and much greater reliability.
What is GPON?
GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) is the technology used to deliver FTTH. A single fibre from the provider is split passively to serve many homes, carrying voice, data and video efficiently at gigabit speeds.
What benefits do you offer to society under FTTx service?
Future-ready gigabit connectivity, support for multiple screens and OTT/Live-TV, reliable work-from-home and online education, and a single ONE-WIRE delivery of voice, data and video to every home.
How will you connect our building with your fibre and carry out the installation?
Our field team lays Over-Head-Fibre (OHF) to the building, installs the required field equipment (OLT/switch/ONT), and connects each home with an FTTH ONT — all planned and mapped by our partner app for quick service.
What support do you require from the Managing Committee to connect our society?
Basic permission to lay fibre and install shared equipment, a small space for the network box, and a single point of contact from the committee to coordinate the rollout.
We want to connect our society with ONE-GigaFiber — what should we do?
Simply contact us with your society details and we'll survey feasibility, share a plan, and schedule the installation. Call +91 90312 22600 or use the Get a Quote form.
