CRYSTAL BROADBAND AND COMPUTER PVT.LTD. (“Service Provider” or “SIWAN BROADBAND”) and its Affiliates may become privy to information of its Customers, including Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as name, date of birth, birthplace, genetic information, address, telephone number, email address, bank accounts, card numbers, identity number, Vehicle Registration Number, Driving Licence Number, Face/ Photograph, Digital identity in the course of Customer using the SIWAN BROADBAND’s website, Mobile Phone Application (“App”) and/ or availing the Services.

SIWAN BROADBAND will limit the collection and use of Customer Personally Identifiable Information only on a need-to-know basis to deliver better service to the customers.

SIWAN BROADBAND is strongly committed to protecting the privacy of its customers and has taken all necessary and reasonable measures to protect the confidentiality of the customer information and its transmission through the web. While no data transmission over the Internet is 100% secure from intrusion, we have used and will continue to use commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the protection of your information.

SIWAN BROADBAND may use and share the information provided by Customers with its Affiliates and third parties for providing services and any service-related activities such as billing, collecting bills, notifying or contacting Customers regarding any service-related matters. In this regard, it may be necessary to disclose customer information to one or more agents and contractors and their sub-contractors, but such agents, contractors, and sub-contractors will be required to agree to use the information obtained from SIWAN BROADBAND only for these purposes.

The Customer authorizes SIWAN BROADBAND to exchange, share, part with all Personally Identifiable Information and transaction history of the Customers to its Affiliates/ banks/ financial institutions/ credit bureaus/ agencies/ participation in any telecommunication or electronic clearing network as may be required by law, customary practice, credit reporting, statistical analysis and credit scoring, verification or risk management and shall not hold SIWAN BROADBAND liable for use or disclosure of this information.

SIWAN BROADBAND will not sell or rent Customer Personally Identifiable Information to third parties. SIWAN BROADBAND will not otherwise disclose the Personally Identifiable Information provided by Customers to third parties, unless such action is necessary to:

  • Conform to legal requirements or comply with legal process.
  • Comply with investigations of purported unlawful activities, as provided for under the Information Technology Act, 2000.
  • Protect and defend the rights, interests or property of SIWAN BROADBAND, and/ or its Affiliates, other customers.
  • Enforce the terms and conditions of the services provided to Customers.

In the course of Customer using the website, the App and/ or availing the Services, we may also collect and/ or analyse non-Personally Identifiable Information, such as addresses of web pages viewed, links and advertisements clicked, searches conducted, Price Plan subscribed, Usage quantum. Such information may be shared with advertisers on aggregate basis and may be used to contact you about new offers/ products from SIWAN BROADBAND or third parties, serve customized advertising to users while accessing Internet or availing other SIWAN BROADBAND services, and otherwise enhance the experience of SIWAN BROADBAND services.

Our website and App may contain advertisements, references and links to other web sites and organizations. We may also use third parties to display or serve advertising on the Site, in our web-based newsletters, and while accessing Internet in general. To preserve the integrity of the information that CRYSTAL receives from, and maintains regarding, its Users, including you, and to comply with applicable statutes and regulations. CRYSTAL maintains its databases and the personal information that you and all Users provide for an indefinite length of time. By creating an account with CRYSTAL and/or using CRYSTAL’s Services, you consent to CRYSTAL’s use of your personal information and acknowledge that CRYSTAL may maintain your information in one place for this indefinite length of time. CRYSTAL will keep the user’s information for a minimum of 10 years and may archive it based on CRYSTAL’s discretion. CRYSTAL may also archive Users’ accounts, including yours, and the information that CRYSTAL maintains regarding those accounts, upon your written request. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you understand and agree that all information submitted by you to CRYSTAL shall become and remain the property of CRYSTAL and may be used in CRYSTAL’s sole discretion in accordance with this Privacy Policy and its Terms of Use.

App purpose: CRYSTAL BROADBAND AND COMPUTER PVT.LTD. is a class A ISP with Brand Name CRYSTAL in India which provides broadband and lease line connections. To provide services to our customers, we create channel partners in different-different areas. CRYSTAL Partner APP helps our channel partners & field staff to view and attend to user complaints. With the help of this APP, CRYSTAL inform their channel partners about any new Installation/Fault in their respective area. Also, CRYSTAL partner app help our Channel partners and Field Staff to navigate to Customers location. In Order to provide internet service to Our Customers, we deploy multiple assets like Switch, OLT, EOC Masters etc in field. We also lay OHF (Over Head Fiber) in field to provide FTTX Services to our customers. CRYSTAL Partner App helps our Partner to draw route of OHF (Over Head Fiber) And Capture Location of every assets installed in Field. This Fibre Route helps us in troubleshooting defect and planning for new network. With the help of Assets Locations and Fibre Route details, We also able to resolve complaints of our Consumers quickly.

Location access: As, CRYSTAL Partner App is mainly focused to facilitate and provide information to Our Channel Partners regarding new Installation & Fault details. In Parallel, CRYSTAL Partner App Also help our Channel Partners to draw route of their network(Network includes Field assets like Switch/OLT/RF Devices etc & Route of Over Head Fibre Cable). So, Location Access is required to draw their network on Google Map. As per functionality of CRYSTAL Partner App, User provide location access to App & Start navigating in parallel to Fibre Route-Network. Once user Start Navigating in parallel to OHF, CRYSTAL Partner App start to build route on Map. Once user complete his Route & Click on Submit Button, System Store the complete route drawn. So, Background location Access is mandatory to Route Navigation in Customer App.
